South Main Station (former Butterball Plant) Redevelopment - this project is located at the gateway of the south end of the Downtown District (1st Ave. and Main St.) and brings new residential housing, retail, restaurant, and more. Demolition began in 2017, Phase 1 was completed in 2019 and Phase 2 is in process.

First & Main Station - In 2012, the City completed a master plan and revitalization study for the 1st & Main Station project near the site of the old flour mill near 1st Avenue and Main Street. The study examined both short-term and long-range development potential for the site (well in advance of actual rail station construction) and included preparation of transit-oriented development concept plans and market analyses for the area.

Past Projects

The Spoke on Coffman- A public-private partnership between Boulder County, the Boulder County Housing Authority (BCHA), and the Longmont Downtown Development Authority (LDDA). Located at 518 Coffman, The Spoke is a mixed-use neighborhood featuring 73 permanently-affordable rental homes, 60 public parking spaces, and commercial space.

Alleyscape and Breezeway Project - The Spring of 2012 marked the groundbreaking for the Alleyscape and Breezeway Project in Downtown Longmont. This long awaited project revitalized the parking lots, alleyways and breezeways that are essential to the growth and development of Downtown.

Roosevelt Park Apartements - The LDDA supported this public-private partnership to redevelop a blighted gateway corner into Downtown's first luxury apartment building featuring 4 stories and views of the mountains and Roosevelt Park.
