The Longmont Downtown Development Authority (LDDA) proudly announces the fifteenth annual Festival on Main celebration to be held on Friday, August 28, 2015 from 6 - 10 p.m. on Main Street, Longmont CO, presented by Kaiser Permanente. This year’s celebration offers more activities, music, arts and a beer garden.

Three simultaneous stages for musical enjoyment:

Festival on Main features three music stages to engage the entire community. The 4th Avenue stage at Main St., sponsored by Wyatt’s Wet Goods, is headlined by Something Underground from 7:30-9:30 p.m with Patti Fiasco opening. They will be performing from 6-7:15 p.m.  The 4th Avenue Stage features a Beer Garden sponsored by Pumphouse, Left Hand, Oskar Blues, Wibby, and 300 Suns Breweries.

Three Family Friendly entertainers bring a groove to the 3rd Ave stage, sponsored by Xfinity. It will feature Michael Amaya, comedian, from 6-6:45pm, followed by Pearl’s Treat Burlesque from 7-7:45pm and wrap up the evening with beautyofmyland from 8:00-9:45 p.m. These activities are a showcase of what is offered at the Dickens Opera House and The Speakeasy year round.

Four Latin performances, a quinceanera fashion show and piñata breaking will take place on our Main Stage from 6 - 10 p.m., sponsored by LaLey Radio. The Main Stage, located west of  5th Avenue and Main St., will feature La Revancha (6-7pm.), El Consentido de Leyva (7:40-8pm) Brillantes Del Norte (8-8:30pm) and Los Amos de la Sierra (8:30-9:45pm). Interactive fun:

Along with music, Festival on Main features fun! Free attractions include a climbing wall, obstacle course, bounce house, inflatable slide, and more! More than 90 booths feature Downtown merchants and area non-profits, each with a fun, interactive activity.

Dance and arts abound:

Three stages will showcase dance this year. Don’t miss Dance Dimensions showcase on the corner of Main & Longs Peak. Airborne Gymnastics will be performing on Main Street near 4th Ave.

To celebrate the creative art district, Longs Peak and north Main Street will become an artist showcase.
