Downtown #Strongmont Business of the Day: St. Vrain Cidery

Downtown #Strongmont Business of the Day

St. Vrain Cidery - 350 Terry St.

St. Vrain Cidery began with three friends having a conversation about a love for cider and the lack of places to find it in the Longmont community. Realizing back in February 2015 that there were no cideries at all in Boulder County, they jumped on the idea of being the first! Downtown was the perfect place to open their doors and in October 2016 they opened as the largest all hard cider taproom in Colorado. They offer 36 taps of their own fermentations and others made around the state. Patrons can try a large variety of different flavors and styles of cider and get a sneak-peek at what the Colorado cider industry has to offer. They'll introduce you to their own award-winning ciders and those from around this beautiful state.

Check them out on their website, and follow them on FacebookInstagram, and Twitter.

Join St. Vrain Cidery during their LIVE FACEBOOK STREAM around 1:00 PM Today (May 4)!

Q & A with Dean and Cindy Landi, Owners

Q: Why you decided to open in Downtown Longmont.

A: We saw the growth potential as well as wanting to be part of the regrowth of developing the landscape of the Longmont’s downtown vision. As we began to form business relationships, we saw how the surrounding neighborhood wanted more local businesses and how the Longmont Downtown Development Authority was helping to promote those businesses to the community. Opening St. Vrain Cidery has allowed us to share our dream with our downtown community.

Q: How can your customers make St. Vrain Cidery their own favorite place, and how can they take ownership of supporting you during this time?

A: We so appreciate this community and we are grateful for the support during this time. Continue supporting SVC through online pick-up and delivery purchases, picking us up at their local neighborhood store or having cider shipped to their front door is all great ways to help us continue to operate during this very strange time. We also have a lot of fun Virtual events you can participate in. Be sure to follow us on social media for updates on all things SVC. Cider On!

During the Stay at Home order, we'll be featuring a different Downtown Longmont business each day. These small businesses are the heartbeat of our community and are a big reason why this is such a great place to live, work, and play. This is a difficult time for everyone, and small businesses and their owners and employees are no exception.

There are many ways you can support our local small businesses during this time, from liking, following, and sharing their content on social media, to making online or over-the-phone purchases of products or gift cards.
