Downtown Breezeways and Micro Plazas added to City Municipal Code on Public Lands
On July 22, 2019, City Council elected to add the Downtown breezeways and micro plazas to the City's Municipal Code on Public Lands, Chapter 13.20.
The following material will be added to the Code:
- Breezeways mean public pedestrian corridors that connect Main Street to its adjacent alleys to the east and west on its 300, 400, and 500 blocks. Microplazas mean small, landscaped, pedestrian plaza areas just east of the eastern breezeways, across the alley immediately east of Main Street.
- Public lands means community parks, neighborhood parks, nature areas, dog parks, off-street trails, greenways, breezeways, microplazas, and preserves.
