Hear extraordinary people talk about issues of importance to Northern Colorado and beyond, part of our Thursday Nights at the Museum series. Featuring members of the Mayeda, Kanemoto, and Tanaka families. Members of Longmont’s longstanding Japanese-American community share their family histories and reflect on the 80th anniversary of Executive Order 9066, which authorized the internment of anyone of Japanese ancestry from the West Coast. Co-presented with the Longmont Multicultural Action. Please note: masks and proof of COVID vaccination are required to attend this program.
