We have rented an air conditioned charter bus and are going to hit the road to Nebraska for the day to visit Brown Sheep Company, do a tour of the mill and shop at their shop! Grab your knitting needles! Grab your crochet hooks! Grab a shopping bag!
The drive will take about 3 to 3 ½ hours one way so please bring a project to work on. Once we arrive at Brown Sheep we will go on a 45 minute to 1 hour tour and then break for lunch. Our group will be divided into two to three separate tour groups. After lunch there will be an opportunity to shop in Brown Sheep’s second’s bins. This is a great opportunity to pick up some deals on yarn! The yarn is usually in good condition and has only been tossed in the second’s bin because it has knots, the dye lot color didn’t come out right or it is a discontinued item. Checks, cash and credit cards (no Amex) are accepted.
