The Boulder County Hazardous Materials Management Facility in partnership with the Boulder County Public Health Tobacco Education Prevention Partnership is hosting a free VapeAware Takeback Event on Saturday, August 21 at the St. Vrain Community Hub located at 515 Coffman St. in Longmont from 8 a.m. to noon. This collection event is free for residents of Boulder County, City and County of Broomfield, and Town of Erie. This will be a drop-off event where vaping devices and e-cigarettes containing lithium-ion batteries as well as e-liquid and pods will be accepted. Please place leaking containers in a sealed plastic bag prior to dropping them off.
