Join us as a participant (ages 11-18), or just come to watch. SVVSD is partnering with Firehouse Art Center and Max Coleman to paint a mural at Dirt Labs - 721 Main St, Longmont, CO 80501.

April 6th- Thursday- 4pm-6pm- tutorial
April 7th- Friday- 4pm-6pm- tutorial
April 8th- Saturday- 12pm-8pm- mural painting (you must attend a tutorial to participate in the mural painting)
Location:
Thursday and Friday- Meet at the Firehouse at 4pm.
On Saturday, you will need to find transportation to the mural at Dirt Labs on Main Street.

This is a FREE workshop offered to local middle and high schoolers to learn the basics of mural painting and then participate in a large scale mural in Downtown Longmont.
Max Coleman is a graphic artist whose work both uplifts and challenges. Born in Connecticut and graduating from the Rhode Island School of Design in 2015, Max’s work takes elements and techniques of centuries past and applies them towards the modern day mediums of digital illustration and street art. Max has taught teen workshops through BMoCA and the Firehouse in the past, and you can see a past collaborative work in the Firehouse stairwell.
