The Artists:

Megan Burtt https://www.meganburtt.com/
Megan Burtt is a performing songwriter. She has played music on almost every continent, summited Mt. Kilimanjaro and survived a gluten free diet for a decade now. She and Oprah share the same enneagram number. She wishes she’d learned music in a Southern Gospel church and dreams of becoming an olive farmer in Spain. And, you never know, life is a long time.. and longing is a great source of inspiration. Megan is working on her latest full-length record with singles set to release in fall 2024. Megan is the winner of the Kerrville, Rocky Mountain Folks Fest Songwriter and Denver Westword Songwriting Competitions and a finalist in the Mountain New Song, Telluride Bluegrass, Great American Song Contest and Songwriter Serenade Songwriting Competitions.
“Soulful, confessional, and sublime in a rustic way.” – Pop Matters

Chris Koza https://chriskoza.com/
Chris Koza is a composer and performer based in Denver, Colorado and Minneapolis, Minnesota. Both solo and with his band Rogue Valley, he has supported and shared the stage with artists such as Brandi Carlile, Gordon Lightfoot, Ingrid Michaelson, The Jayhawks, Neko Case, Kathleen Edwards, Dan Wilson, and Stephen Kellogg, among others. His music appears regularly on ABC’s General Hospital, 60 Minutes, and Good Morning America, and his song Be Wild was featured in a State of Minnesota tourism campaign. His song (Rogue Valley) The Wolves and the Ravens was featured in Ben Stiller’s film The Secret Life of Walter Mitty. Chris often performs solo with an acoustic guitar but also performs as a duo, trio, and 4-or-5 piece band.
In his writing, Chris both honors and builds on the vast genre of Americana music. For every song that sounds like it could be strummed from a boxcar clacking slowly across a grassy midwestern plain, there's a tune sailing from a city rooftop, echoing across a valley of streets and traffic, or a melody twisting and shimmering like a dim frequency deep into the starry night.
Solo, with Rogue Valley, and his moniker Nobody Kid, Chris has self-produced, written, and released sixteen albums and EP's. Last October, Rogue Valley released their 6th album Shell Game. Chris is currently working through a trove of rediscovered sessions called Graveyard Shift; a collection of songs and sparks spanning the last twenty years.

Hosted by: Monica Marie LaBonte https://monicamariemusic.com/
From a wide-eyed tike delicately pressing the keys of her mother’s upright piano to a seasoned artist taking various stages across the country, Monica Marie LaBonte has always been guided by song. In her over 10-year career, the Colorado native has played hundreds of venues, including the historic Gold Hill Inn and Planet Bluegrass. For five years, she carried the torch of Women in Song at the Laughing Goat and enjoyed booking, playing alongside and meeting artists from all over the country. Monica is thrilled to be the Creative Director and host of Mixtape. She believes in the power of community and music and cannot wait to see what magic happens when musicians share stories and songs on stage together at the Times Collaborative.
