Longmont Town Hall at Longmont Public Media, 457 4th Ave, Longmont, CO 80501 on March 30th. This is a Thursday evening, doors opening at 6:30 pm, and going out live online (LPM channels, Youtube, etc.) starting at 7pm, and ending at 8:30pm.
The event will have a live audience comprised of local business owners, as well as the general public, which will be encouraged to ask proper questions. It will be moderated by Nigel Aves, a noted local TV host, and rules of decorum and respectful dialogue will be adhered to.
There also be some live music performed by local singer/songwriter, Jonathan Duane.
The subjects are the proposed hotel at 3rd and Kimbark, and the possible new Performing Arts Center. The purpose is to simply facilitate communication between affected business owners, the public at large, and the City Council and the LDDA.
Panelists currently include Marcia Martin and at least one representative of the LDDA, and the public will be able to ask questions specific these two proposed developments
