Join us at the Firehouse Art Center for an in-person talk with artists Courtney Giblin and Clark Valentine. Courtney and Clark will discuss their creative processes, works in the show, and the ways their approach to a creative practice overlap and diverge. Moderated by Curator Brandy Coons.
Distilling the act of creation into its most fundamental elements is an interest of both artists featured in the exhibit “Line & Weight.” By focusing exclusively on their respective processes and media, we are rewarded as viewers with works that draw us in to their meditative results.
ARTIST BIOS:
Courtney Giblin is a visual artist living and working in Boulder County, Colorado. Courtney obtained her B.A. in Art from the University of Oregon with a focus in painting.

Originally from Colorado Springs, Colorado, Clark Valentine lives and works in Fort Collins, Colorado where he is a 3rd year MFA Candidate at Colorado State University. He is represented by Alfa Gallery Miami and is a founding member of the I Found U Collective.
