-Intro to Sewing with a Pattern: Circle Skirts:

Participants will learn how to read and use a paper pattern for sewing clothing, some basics in altering patterns to achieve a better fit, or ways to adjust patterns to better match your design goals. Participants will leave with a finished circle skirt. All materials will be provided but if participants would like to supply their own fabric for the skirt they can (old bedsheets make a great choice or 3 yards of the fabric of your choice) Participants can also bring their own sewing machine if they would like. Ideally participants have already taken the Intro to Sewing class or they already have a basic knowledge of sewing machines.

5hr class, 3-6 max, Intro to Sewing class required or a working knowledge of a sewing machine

Intro to Pattern Sewing - $200

4hr class, 3-6 max, no prerequisites

- Small class size means small class experience!

Steffie Notion is a textile artist and seamstress based in Longmont, CO. She learned to sew from her mom and now has over 20 years of experience specializing in practical alterations and mending. Her work emphasizes sustainability, focusing on the importance of repurposing and repairing old clothes to reduce waste. She actively shares her expertise through workshops and classes, encouraging others to embrace creativity and resourcefulness in their own sewing journeys.

Cancellation Policy
Refund policy: Fees can be refunded with a 48 hour notification before the start of the first class in a session or 48 hours before the class.

What To Bring
Machines and fabric will be provided but feel free to bring fabrics that you would like to use and/or your machine from home.
