Adult Sewing Classes

*Ages 18-118

-Intro to Sewing Machines: Tote or pillow - Participants will receive an introduction to sewing machines, practice sewing straight lines and getting comfortable with the basics of the machine, participants will make either a checkerboard throw pillow or a tote bag using paper patterns and materials provided. Bring your own machine if you’d like to get more comfortable using it.

4hr class, 3-6 max, no prerequisites

- Small class size means small class experience!

Steffie Notion is a textile artist and seamstress based in Longmont, CO. She learned to sew from her mom and now has over 20 years of experience specializing in practical alterations and mending. Her work emphasizes sustainability, focusing on the importance of repurposing and repairing old clothes to reduce waste. She actively shares her expertise through workshops and classes, encouraging others to embrace creativity and resourcefulness in their own sewing journeys.
