Adult Sewing Classes

*Ages 18-118

-Alterations and mending: Tops, skirts, dresses: Participants will learn the basics of taking in/letting out tops, skirts and dresses, fixing broken zippers and repairing buttons. Please bring tops, skirts or dresses in need of mending or altering and additional materials will be provided

- 3 hr class, BYOM if desired. 2-8 max, no prerequisites

Steffie Notion
Steffie Notion is a textile artist and seamstress based in Longmont, CO. She learned to sew from her mom and now has over 20 years of experience specializing in practical alterations and mending. Her work emphasizes sustainability, focusing on the importance of repurposing and repairing old clothes to reduce waste. She actively shares her expertise through workshops and classes, encouraging others to embrace creativity and resourcefulness in their own sewing journeys.

Cancellation Policy
Refund policy: Fees can be refunded with a 48 hour notification before the start of the first class in a session or 48 hours before the class.

What To Bring
Machines and fabric will be provided but feel free to bring fabrics that you would like to use and/or your machine from home.
