Step out of the traditional orchestra setting and into an immersive experience that breaks barriers and celebrates diversity! Geared to spotlight the musicians of the Boulder Phil, the Shift Series lifts the facade of the stereotypical orchestral concert. Enjoy a drink, grab a bite to eat, and socialize with friends and family as you enjoy performances at unique and historic venues like the Dickens Opera House. GROOVE offers a mixture of classics, blues, funk, jazz, bluegrass, and pop by composers of diverse backgrounds for string quartet. Modern selections include songs that have been performed by artists such as Justin Bieber, Lizzo, and more. Talking, dancing, hoots, and hollers are not just allowed but encouraged!
