$10 entry fee
(includes first beverage, due at sign in)
Doors open at 5:00pm, Appetizer food menu will be available as well as full drink menu.
(Chicken tenders, poutine, elotes etc.)
Some of our content/jokes/words are off-color so we ask only 18+ entrants please. 18-20 year olds may have a non-alc beverage of your choice.
Here’s how it works:
Spellers get a number and free beer (wine or cider) to give them courage. They are given a competitor number and they go up in order of their number. Miss a word and you are eliminated. Spellers who make it past round 2 & 3 will get an additional free taster per round. Get past round 4 and get another drink. Words will be increasingly difficult as the rounds go on until one winner is left standing. Spellers can ask for definitions, language of origin, parts of speech or use in what may be a mildly off-color sentence.
