Collage Postcards Workshop to benefit Meals on Wheels
Create your own collage postcards to include with Meals on Wheels deliveries!
To celebrate April's Month of Poetry and the connection between visual art and the written word, we are having a POSTCARD MAKING DAY!
We will be making collaged postcards to send with Meals on Wheels deliveries. These cards will be used to brighten the day of the people Longmont Meals on Wheels serves.
Longmont Meals on Wheels delivers to over 450 clients per week! They are the second largest MOW in Colorado
* Some materials will be provided by the Firehouse, but participants should bring postcards to transform, as well as materials to cut-up for their collage (magazines, old photos, scrap paper…), scissors, tape, glue, and any other elements to add to their multimedia collage postcards (markers, paint, thread, fabric…).
Workshop will be facilitated by Vonalda Utterback.
