Join Ana Balzan in this fun mask making workshop.
Ana will help students in...

• The skull basics - checking height, width & length of the head with the help of a generic proportions calculator.

• Using additive processes to create realistic features and bone structure while applying face proportions learned.

• Adding masses and developing the primary features: nose, lips and eyeballs.

• Gradual detailing, fussing and checking symmetry

• Creating a human mask with Ana’s assistance making features of their choosing.

• Ana will provide 3 female face images.

• Creating slip to join clay pieces together.

• Clean surface with scrubby pad and terry cloth

• Learning to refine and re-shape the features to create their vision with as much or little realism as desired.

• Form holes to enable the mask to be displayed on a wall with string or wire.

The masks will be fired (bisque firing is included in the price) and students will be able to pick up 2 weeks after the class. They can then be taken home to paint, or can be glazed at the Firehouse and refired for $15.

Cancellation And Refund Policies
You may cancel your class up to 24 hours before the class begins and request to receive a full refund.If your cancellation is less than 24 hours in advance, the fee can be transferred to a friend, but the fee is NON REFUNDABLE. Eventbrite’s fees are non-refundable, so they won't be returned to the ticket buyer unless the event is canceled, or if the buyer requests a refund for a duplicate charge within 7 days of purchase.
