Intro to handbuilding Ceramic techniques for Adults
Class meeting dates: July 13, July 20, July 27
Meeting time: 6-8pm
In this class, we will explore the technique of coil building to create functional objects. We will study a diverse array of coil pots to then create our own by rolling coils or cutting shapes and using the slip and score method to assemble. The first two sessions will be designated to building your pots and the final session will be devoted to glazing. All supplies and firings are included in the class price. All final glaze-fired works will need to be picked up from the Firehouse no later than 6 weeks after the final class session.
