Grab a drink and get creative with these Thursday night art classes for adults at the Longmont Museum. Beer, wine, and concessions will be available for purchase in the Atrium Bar. These classes are designed to guide beginners as well as bring new skills to experienced artists and crafters. Learn bookbinding techniques and vocabulary. In this class you will fold, stack, and sew pages together using the Coptic stitch bookbinding method. Coptic binding results in a spine that opens completely, so your book will lay flat. The sewn binding is refined enough to be a decorative element on a finished book, or it can be covered by a hard binding. Option to continue your bookbinding education in the next class!
