Grab a drink and get creative with these Thursday night art classes for adults at the Longmont Museum. Beer, wine, and concessions will be available for purchase in the Atrium Bar. These classes are designed to guide beginners as well as bring new skills to experienced artists and crafters. The brilliant blues of “sun prints” or “cyanotypes” are created by layering objects such as flowers and leaves on top of specially treated paper and exposing it under a UV lightbulb or in the sunshine. Create a finished artwork in this class or sign up for the upcoming book binding classes and use your cyanotype as the cover of your handmade book. Instructor Brandy Coons.
