The Longmont Creates and the Longmont Creative District present the Creative Retreat for Colorado creatives on January 26, 2024, to set intentions and goals for the new year and learn about valuable resources and upcoming opportunities. This is a great chance for local creatives to receive useful industry insight, learn about writing a business plan, and meet other creatives looking to collaborate.
Creative professionals will cover topics like applying to grants to fund your future projects, applying to shows, gigs, or markets, social media best practices and expanding your audience.
Presenters include representatives from Front Range Community College’s new Business for Creative Industries program, Boulder County Arts Alliance, Colorado Creative Industries, Colorado Small Business Development Center, Longmont Creates, Local Creatives and many more! This event was designed for creatives of all kinds from visual artists, musicians, or writers.

2:00pm - Let's Get Moving with Maren Waldman
2:30pm - Creative Collaborations - Identifying needs and creative solutions, collaborations and ideas.
3:00pm - 4:00pm - Your 2024 Vision Board with Alicia Beeson
3:30pm - 4:30pm - Happy Hours begins, vision boarding continues
Breakfast and lunch are included, as well as a guided movement workshop with Maren Waldman. The day will end with a vision board activity and happy hour.
