Clean & Green
Volunteer Cleanup Event
Friday & Saturday, May 17-18
8 am - 11 am
This year enthusiastic volunteers helped with clean up around our Downtown neighborhood. We focused on cleaning Main St. structures, graffiti removal, and general alley, breezeway and trash enclosure cleanup.
For all their hard work, volunteers receive:
- light breakfast, plus coffee from MeCo Coffee
- lunch from 99 Bar Saloon
- Clean & Green t-shirt (adult unisex sizes only)
Note: Volunteers must be able to handle physical activity such as bending, lifting, twisting, shoveling and standing for long periods.
2024 Highlights
Over 50 volunteers showed up to clean around alleys, breezeways, trash enclosures, Main St. and our 600 W parking lot. Volunteers started the day with coffee from MeCo Coffee and after working at their locations, returned to enjoy lunch from 99 Bar & Saloon. All volunteers received a t-shirt and a huge thank you from the LDDA and the City of Longmont Public Works for their hard work.

Accomplishments:
- cleaned out 6 alleys and 6 breezeways
- graffiti removal in 4 alleys and breezeways
- cleaned out 8 trash enclosures
- cleaned trash cans on Main St.
- removed juniper bushes in the 600 W parking lot
